LNG Stockpiles Held by Japanese Utilities Rose by 2.1% Last Week

LNG stockpiles held by Japanese power utilities increased by 2.11% on the week to 2.42mn tons as of 12 November according to data released by the trade ministry.

  • Inventories have risen to the highest level since May and up from 2.37mn tons as of 5 November.
  • Stockpiles are above the five-year average of 2.12mn tons for the end of November but down from 2.55mn tons during the same period last year.
