AUSSIE 3-YR TECHS: (Z17) Topside Hesitation Continues
*RES 4: 98.167 - 100-WMA
*RES 3: 98.130 - Low June 20 now resistance
*RES 2: 98.090 - Monthly Highs Aug 4 & 11
*RES 1: 98.080 - Repeated Daily highs Nov
*PRICE: 98.030 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 98.020 - Low Nov 16 & 17
*SUP 2: 98.018 - 21-DMA
*SUP 3: 97.965 - 100-DMA
*SUP 4: 97.960 - Low Nov 1
*COMMENTARY: Hesitation ahead of the 98.090 resistance is less than ideal for
bulls with a close above needed to reconfirm focus on 98.130-167 where the
100-WMA is situated. Initial support remains at 98.020 with bears needing a
close below to ease bullish pressure. Below the 97.960 support is then needed to
confirm breaks of 21 & 100-DMAs with immediate pressure then shifting to
97.900-924 where the 55-DMA is noted.
AUSSIE 10-YR TECHS: (Z17) Bears Need Close Below 97.3650
*RES 4: 97.5200 - Low June 20 now resistance
*RES 3: 97.5016 - Bollinger band top
*RES 2: 97.4995 - 200-WMA
*RES 1: 97.4500 - Monthly High Sept 8
*PRICE: 97.4350 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 97.3650 - Low Nov 17
*SUP 2: 97.3402 - 21-DMA
*SUP 3: 97.2909 - 100-DMA
*SUP 4: 97.2609 - 55-DMA
*COMMENTARY: Support continued to emerge on dips back to the 200-DMA (97.3261)
last week with bulls remaining focused on the break of 97.4500 to reconfirm a
bullish bias. Above 97.5200 remains needed to confirm focus on tests of 2017
highs. Layers of support remain with bears now needing a close below 97.3650 to
shift focus back to key DMAs.
US 10-YR FUTURE TECHS: (Z17) 124-16 Support Remains Key
*RES 4: 125-20+ 100-DMA
*RES 3: 125-13+ 55-DMA
*RES 2: 125-07 High Nov 15
*RES 1: 124-29 Hourly resistance Nov 20
*PRICE: 124-21 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 124-16 Low Nov 14
*SUP 2: 124-10 Bollinger band base
*SUP 3: 124-06 Low Oct 25
*SUP 4: 124-02 Rising Weekly TL
*COMMENTARY: Failure to trouble the 125-07 resistance has left the contract
looking heavy with the break of 124-24+ seeing immediate focus back on the
124-16 support. Bears continue to look for a close below 124-16 to return focus
to the rising weekly TL. Bulls still need a close above 125-07 to gain breathing
room and above 125-25+ to confirm breaks of key DMAs, ending bearish hopes and
shifting immediate focus to 126-04+/09.
US 10-YR YIELD TECHS: 2.386-419 Resistance Key
*RES 4: 2.434 - Hourly resistance Oct 27
*RES 3: 2.419 - Hourly support Oct 27 now resistance
*RES 2: 2.386 - Hourly resistance Nov 14
*RES 1: 2.379 - High Nov 16
*PRICE: 2.360 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 2.335 - Low Nov 21
*SUP 2: 2.319 - Low Nov 15
*SUP 3: 2.306 - 200-DMA
*SUP 4: 2.304 - 55-DMA
*COMMENTARY: Dips continue to find support ahead of the 200-DMA with the
2.273-3.319 support region remaining key. 55, 100 & 200-DMAs are noted in this
region with bears now needing a close below 2.273 to confirm breaks of key DMAs
shifting immediate focus to 2.207. Bulls continue to look for a close above
2.419 to return initial focus to 2.477 and overall focus to 2.544-580 with a
close above 2.379 to add support to their case.
JGB TECHS: (Z17) Bears Need Close Below 150.88
*RES 4: 151.51 - 2017 High Sept 8
*RES 3: 151.33 - High Sept 12
*RES 2: 151.21 - Low Sept 2 now resistance
*RES 1: 151.10 - High Nov 21
*PRICE: 150.97 @ 2030GMT
*SUP 1: 151.03 - High Nov 20 now support
*SUP 2: 150.88 - High Nov 16 now support
*SUP 3: 150.71 - 21-DMA
*SUP 4: 150.69 - 55-DMA
*COMMENTARY: Dips found support ahead of key DMAs last week with the 55-DMA
providing the base for an aggressive rally Friday. Bulls remain focused on
151.21 with a close above to confirm focus on 2017 highs. Bears continue to look
for a close below 150.88 to ease bullish pressure and below the 200-DMA (150.52)
to end bullish hopes and shift focus back to 150.06-19.
