China will boost medium-to-long-term foreign investments by relaxing requirements for qualified "strategic" ownerships in listed domestic companies, including making more flexible qualification, ownership ratios, and share lock-up periods, the Ministry of Commerce said on Monday.
Local authorities will be encouraged to help foreign companies set up regional operations for fund management, procurement and sales, the ministry said.
