MNI European Morning Briefing

     LONDON (MNI) - A quiet European economic docket kicks off on Monday with
German Manufacturing Orders at 0700GMT.
     It is final PMI day and Spain kick things off on that front with Services
PMI at 0815GMT. Also at 0815GMT are Swiss CPI figures.
     At 0845GMT it is Italy's turn to release final October Services PMI, France
are up at 0850GMT followed swiftly by Germany at 0855GMT. The broader Eurozone
figures are released at 0900GMT.
     At 1000GMT Eurozone PPI figures are published.
     Also at 1000GMT is the Eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence index.
     New York Federal Reserve Bank Vice President Simon Potter is to speak on
"Implementing Monetary Policy with the Balance Sheet" at the ECB Workshop: Money
Markets, Monetary Policy Implementation and Central Bank Balance Sheets in
Frankfurt, Germany at 1030GMT.
     During the day During the day ECB President Mario Draghi, ECB Supervisory
Board chair Daniele Nouy and ECB Executive Board member Benoit Coeure will
attend a Eurogroup meeting, in Brussels. There is no set time for comments.
     The US Employment Trends Index will be published at 1500GMT.
     Also at 1500GMT is the Canadian Ivey PMI.
     New York Federal Reserve Bank President William Dudley will speak on
"Lessons from the Financial Crisis" at luncheon hosted by the Economic Club of
New York, in New York, with moderated Q&A at 1710GMT.
     At 1800GMT ECB Executive Board member Yves Mersch will deliver a speech at
Slovenian Banking Days "Banking in the digital age" organised by the Banking
Association of Slovenia, in Brdo, Slovenia.
     The final release of the US day is Treasury STRIPS data at 2000GMT.
