MNI European Morning Briefing

     LONDON (MNI) - An anaemic data calendar on Monday, bereft of any
significant data.
     At 0930GMT Bank of England MPC member Vlieghe is to speak on panel at
Resolution Foundation Event titled "the role of household debt in 21st century
Britain."
     The ECB will call for bids on the latest 7-day MRO at 1440GMT, before
publishing the latest PSPP bond buying data at 1445GMT.
     Across the Atlantic the New York Fed release their Survey of Consumer
Expectations at 1600GMT.
     Bank of England MPC member McCafferty will speak on LBC Radio at 1630GMT.
     At 1900GMT the US Treasury Budget is on the schedule. The Treasury is
expected to post a $53.5 billion budget surplus, slightly wider than the $51.3
billion surplus a year earlier. The year/year comparison is valid due to
identical calendar issues.
