     LONDON (MNI) - Three releases on the Wednesday worth keeping an eye out for
are Germany's November trade balance data at 0700GMT, December Euro Area
unemployment data at 1000GMT and the Bank of Canada interest rate announcement
at 1500GMT. Speeches from the Federal Reserve members also make an appearance on
Wednesday, as well as from the BOC following the interest rate decision.
     The m/m trade balance in Germany for October was EUR17.3 bn.
     Euro Area unemployment was at 8.1% in November, remaining at near ten year
lows.
     Speaking at 1320GMT is Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank president Raphael
Bostic speaking in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
     Chicago Federal Reserve Bank president Charles Evans speaks in Riverwoods,
Illinois at 1400GMT.
     The BOC interest rate announcement is not anticipated to change from the
current rate of 1.75% according to the MNI median.
     At 1615GMT is BOC Governor Stephen Poloz and Senior Deputy Governor Carolyn
Wilkins press conference in Ottawa, Ontario following the interest rate
announcement.
     Concluding the speeches at 1630GMT is Boston Federal Reserve Bank President
Eric Rosengren speaking in Boston, Massachusetts.
