MNI: PBOC Net Drains CNY25 Billion via OMOs

     BEIJING (MNI) - The People's Bank of China (PBOC) injected CNY15 billion
via 7-day reverse repos, and CNY20 billion via 28-day reverse repos on
Wednesday, adding liquidity for the seventh day. This resulted in a net drain of
CNY25 billion given that CNY60 billion of reverse repos matured today, according
to Wind Information.
- The 7-day weighted average interbank repo average rate for depository
institutions (DR007) rose to 2.6300% at 9:54 local time from the close of
2.5153% on Tuesday: Wind Information. 
- The CFETS-NEX money-market sentiment index closed at 40 on Tuesday, flat from
Monday's close.
