MNI: PBOC Net Injects CNY180 Billion

     BEIJING (MNI) - The People's Bank of China (PBOC) Tuesday injected CNY80
billion via 7-day reverse repos, and CNY100 billion through 28-day reverse
repos, adding liquidity for a second day. 
- It resulted in a net injection of CNY180 billion given that there are no
reverse repos maturing today, according to Wind Information.
- There is also a CNY390 billion of Medium-term Lending Facility(MLF) matured
today, Wind said.
- The PBOC said it has enter the peak of tax season and the total liquidity in
the banking system is expected to fall rapidly in the next few days. 
- 7-day weighted average interbank repo average rate for depository institutions
(DR007) rose to 2.6497% at 0956 local time from the close of 2.5446% on Friday:

- CFETS-NEX money-market sentiment index closed at 40 on Monday vs 41 on Friday.
