- CPIF: Bbg Consensus: 0.1% m/m, 1.9% y/y; Previous (Apr): 0.6% m/m, 2.0% y/y
- CPI: Bbg Consensus: 0.1% m/m, 2.0% y/y; Previous (Apr): 0.7% m/m, 2.1% y/y
- Markets expect headline CPIF inflation to edge down from Apr's 3-mth high...
- ... to sit just below the Riksbank's 2.0% target in May
- Excluding energy, the CPIF edged up 0.1pp to 1.6% in Apr... 
- ... & the Riksbank expects it to have risen to 1.7% in May
- Imported inflation has been lower than would have been expected so far this
year given the weak SEK
- While imported price pressures should start to gain some momentum, weak growth
appears set to keep core inflation contained
- Meanwhile, the most recent survey from Prospera suggests that inflation
expectations edged down in June, while wage expectations were also lower
-  All in all, headline inflation looks on course to trend lower over the coming
months, with rate hikes appearing to be off the table this year
