     LONDON (MNI) - Its a busy calendar thrown up Tuesday, although
by-and-large, the data is second tier.
     Across the Atlantic, the US calendar gets underway from 0855ET, with the
release of the latest Redbook Retail Sales Index.
     Back on the Continent, at 1030ET, Bundesbank Board member Andreas Dombret
takes part in a panel discussion at ECB Banking Supervision Forum.
     The US IBD/TIPP Optimism Index will cross the wires at 1000ET, along with
the latest JOLTS data.
     Federal Reserve Vice Chairman for Supervision Randal Quarles to speak on
Financial Regulation at The Clearing House's Annual Conference in NYC from
1315ET. BOC Governor Stephen Poloz will hold a press conference following speech
at CFA Montreal and Montreal Council on Foreign Relations Montreal, starting at
1530ET.
     Late US data will see both consumer credit and Treasury Allotments
published at 1500ET.
     Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen will deliver give acceptance remarks at
the "Presentation of the Paul H. Douglas Award for Ethics in Government" in
Washington, also at 1500ET.
