NATGAS: Funds Continue to Reduce Bullish TTF Positoning

GAS POSITIONING - Investment fund net long positioning in ICE TTF futures continued to pull back in the week to Sept. 27 from the highs seen during August, according to the commitment of traders data.
- The TTF market is weighing the impact on LNG supply risks from the escalating conflict in the Middle East against relatively stable near term fundamentals. Markets remain wary of cold weather and / or unexpected supply disruptions during the upcoming winter heating season.
- TTF futures aggregate open interest has dropped to the lowest since July to 1.907m following the expiry of the Oct 24 contract last week.
- Investment Firm net position increased by 12.63m to -180.77m
- Investment Funds net position fell by 10.58m to +181.79m
- Commercial Undertaking net position fell by 31.66m to -29.83m
