NATGAS: US Natural Gas Storage Seen Down 43 Bcf Last Week: Reuters

US natural gas storage likely saw a near-normal draw of 43 bcf in the week to Nov. 29, according to a Reuters survey.

  • The five-year average for this period is a 48 bcf draw on the week. In 2023, stocks drew by 81 bcf over the same period.
  • If correct, that would take US natural gas storage levels to 3,924 bcf, a surplus of around 7.4% over the five-year average.
  • The WSJ forecast a draw of 48 bcf.
  • The EIA will report the official figures at 10:30 ET Dec. 5
