No monetary policy comments from RBA Governor Lowe, as we flagged was likely earlier this week (given that the address comes at the Payments Network Summit). A reminder that he next speaks on 16 December, delivering a keynote address in front of the CPA Australia Riverina Business Conference. This will come in the wake of the final U.S. Federal Reserve monetary policy decision of '21 (the Fed is expected to announce an swifter tapering of its QE scheme). There is more scope for Lowe to address monetary policy at that point.
