JET FUEL
Global jet fuel demand in the week commencing June 11 is set to rise, continuing the previous week’s growth, according to BNEF.
- Upcoming flight schedules imply jet fuel growth of 1.7% on the week to 6.79m b/d.
- The increase is driven by increasing travel during the Northern Hemisphere summer travel season.
- North America is the leading region for jet fuel growth, up 41.9k b/d. All region are demonstrating a week-on-week gain in demand.
- In China, domestic flight count is set to hold steady at around just under 94k flights June 11-17.
