Norway’s NVE Moves 12 New Power Projects Into Licensing Process

Norway’s NVE has assessed 26 plans for new power generation projects in the Finnmark region, Norway, and decided to move 12 projects forward in the licensing process, it said.

  • Amongst the projects are eleven wind power projects that will enter the first consultation round in September.
  • The 14 projects that have not been selected will not be considered.
  • Amongst the projects is also the potential expansion of the Alta hydropower plant.
