Norwegian hydropower reserves remained flat on the week at 73.8% of capacity as of 8 August, narrowing the surplus to the 5-year average, NVE data showed.
- Hydropower stocks stood for the fourth consecutive week above the 2018-2022 average. The surplus to the average narrowed to 1.56 percentage points, compared to 2.52 percentage points a week earlier.
- Norway’s total reservoir capacity is 89.7TWh.
