AUSSIE SUMMARY
AUSSIE SUMMARY: *Nov21 Aussie-dollar open $0.7550, range $0.7532 to $0.7558
*Aussie opened in Asia toward the lower side of the $0.7544 to $0.7574 range
seen on Monday, where improved risk sentiment was somewhat negated by softer
precious metal prices and weak WTI, leaving the Aussie broadly unchanged on the
day.
*Aussie consolidated between $0.7546 and $0.7558 ahead of local data
*RBA Minutes were on the dovish side, but not unexpected given the dovish
Statement of Monetary Policy (SoMP released on Nov9). The market seemed to react
more to a bearish Aussie view from Morgan Stanley, who are looking for the
Aussie to fall toward $0.65 cents by 2019. Fast money accounts sold from $0.7556
to $0.7532, upticks were shallow and limited to $0.7542 and heading toward the
European open trades at $0.7535
*The focus now is on tonight's speech from RBA's Lowe at the annual ABE dinner
at 0905GMT. The subject is "Some Evolving Questions" and will be followed by Q&A
session.
