US DATA: November CPI +0.3% Above Expected, Core At-Expected +0.2%

Headline CPI outpaced expectations again in November, climbing above the 
Fed's 2% y/y target for the first time since Nov 2018, pushed by a 0.3% 
m/m gain. This will undoubtedly be eyed by the Fed, who announce their 
latest policy decision later Weds, while also published the latest SEPs. 
Core CPI rose 0.2% m/m, as in October, while y/y core inflation was 
unchanged at +2.3%. Real earnings were unchanged in November for a third 
straight month, but showed a 1.1% gain on Nov 2018.
