November Crude Imports to China Most Since January

China imported the most crude since January with refineries looking to make use to the additional export quotas at the end of this year.

  • China imported 12% more crude in November than in October at 46.74m mt or 11.42mbpd according to Chinese General Administration of Customs data.
  • Net fuel exports of gasoline, diesel and jet fuel increase by 58% with run rates up to the highest since March at 78.49% on Nov 10 according to OilChem.
  • Weaker demand and refinery maintenance are expected to reduce run rates this month.
