KIWI
KIWI: NZD/USD last trades at $0.6707, just shy of the opening levels. The rate
stuck to a very tight range overnight, with the only notable move being a round
trip from session high of $0.6720 driven by the greenback.
- After the pair met resistance at yesterday's peak, bulls look for a clean
break above the level, which would shift their focus to the upper 1.0% 10-DMA
envelope/trendline support-turned-resistance at $0.6737/43. Meanwhile, a move
through the psychological $0.6700 barrier, which proved resilient in Asia-Pac
hours, would open up $0.6657, which represents the 38.2% fibo retracement of the
YtD range.
- No more NZ data releases/central bank speakers are on the docket this week.
