OIL: Oil Flows to Libya's Es Sider Port from Waha Have Resumed

Libya’s oil flows to the port of Es-Sider have resumed after maintenance on the pipeline from the Waha oilfield has been completed, Waha Oil Company said cited by Reuters.

  • Oil production is expected to return to normal levels in the coming hours.
  • Production was previously expected to be returned to normal in a week to 10 days after a drop due to a fire on Aug 12, according to Bloomberg.
  • An expected cut in Libya crude loadings from 1.03mb/d in July to 0.947mb/d in August had added some support to Brent crude prices this week.
