Gasoline cracks have tracked crude in rebounding today following better US jobless data. This may be more reassuring for the US macroeconomic outlook, and thus oil demand.

  • US ULSD crack down 0.7$/bbl at 22.84$/bbl
  • Initial jobless claims were lower than expected in the week to Aug 3, at a seasonally adjusted 233k (cons 240k) as they retreated from a slightly upward revised 250k (initial 249k).
