Total fuel stockpiles in Singapore fell 453k bbl to 42.4m bbl on the week to Oct. 9, official data showed.

  • Singapore fuel oil stockpiles rose for a second straight week as exports fell at a faster rate than imports
  • Inventories were up 5% to 17.59m bbl (2.77m mt) in the week to Oct. 9, a three-week high.
  • Fuel oil imports were down 12.7% on the week to 758k mt, while exports were down 26.6% on the week to 294k mt.
  • Singapore’s middle distillate stocks fell 1.4% on the week as net exports of both diesel and jet fuel gained.
  • Middle distillate stocks were 10.587m bbl, down from 10.742m bbl the previous week.
  • Net exports of diesel were up 6%, while net jet fuel exports were up 48% on the week.
  • Light distillates were down 1.13mbbl to 14.2m bbl.
