Oil Trading Volumes Increase After Dip in December

OIL

WTI aggregate open interest is picking up at the start of the new year after falling to the lowest since early 2012 during December.

  • Brent aggregate volume rose to 1.04m lots yesterday to move above 1m for the first time since 7 December.
  • ICE Gasoil open interest has also been increasing in recent weeks and has increased 9% since a low in November.
