The risk of a natural gas cut-off for Austria’s OMV seemingly passes for another month according to ICIS analyst Tom Marzec-Manser.

  • “The 20th of the month payment-day passes and still Gazprom flows at typical rates via Ukraine,” he said.
  • OMV announced in May the potential suspension of its gas supply from Gazprom, linked to a foreign court’s decision.
  • Fears over its cut-off caused a TTF price spike at the time, highlighting further European gas supply risks, though have prices off with cut emerging.
