US TSY/RECAP: On Friday the space finished well off of session highs, near
opening levels, all-in-all a quiet day of trade heading into the extended
Presidents Day holiday weekend. Limited data reaction was seen, with focus on
Wednesday's FOMC Jan meeting minutes.
- Substantial sell programs hit equities after a headline noted that "MUELLER
INDICTS 13 RUSSIANS FOR HACKING DURING U.S. ELECTION", Tsys initially bounced
but then pulled back.
- Swap spreads ran mostly wider.
- T-Notes last at 120.20+ after some modest buy-side flow at the open, likely
attributable to worries over US-China trade tensions, after China warned that it
may retaliate if the US imposes metal tariffs.
