OPEC Crude Output Fell 60k b/d in July: Bloomberg Survey

Crude oil production from the 12 OPEC members fell by 60k b/d in July, according to a Bloomberg survey.

  • This does not include the 10 OPEC+ members.
  • Iran saw the largest drop in output, down 50k b/d to 3.26m b/d.
  • Meanwhile, Iraq saw a rise of 30k b/d on the month, despite its continued pledge to meet its voluntary production quota of 4m b/d. Based on this survey, Iraq is overproducing by around 280k b/d.
