EURO-DOLLAR: Opened in Asia at $1.1619 at the lower side of Wednesday's $1.1606
to $1.1557 range, where modest US dollar strength was the main theme. In the
absence of any significant economic data in Asia, traders expect sideways
consolidation heading into the European open and the release of German
unemployment and EU manufacturing PMI. In option space, several large expiries
today; $1.1580(E820mn), $1.1600(E1.31bn), $1.1605-10(E1.03bn), $1.1650(E1.52bn),
$1.1670(E777mn) and $1.1700-05(E1.29bn), may well act to contain the near-term
range, certainly for the Asia market. Support lies at $1.1604/06 (hourly low
Oct30, Nov1 low), while hourly resistance is found just above $1.1640.
Euro-dollar was last at $1.1617.
