Over 10% of Russia’s Oil Processing Capacity Hit by Ukraine this Week

Ukrainian strikes on Russia’s energy infrastructure have damaged facilities that hold around 10% of the country’s oil processing capacity, according to DNB Markets' estimates.

  • Ukraine has launched further drone attacks on refineries March 13, which caused a fire at Rosneft’s largest refinery Ryazan.
  • The Ryazan plan refines 12.7m mtpa of crude, around 4.6% of Russia’s total capacity.
  • This came days after a strike on Lukoil’s Norsi refinery.
