  • The Chamber of Deputies debates several legislative proposals, including the draft 2024 state budget. Ceske Noviny reported that parliament may debate the spending plan well into late-night hours after the opposition tabled a substantial number of amendments.
  • Ivo Vondrak, who stepped down as Vice Chairman of the main opposition ANO party and Governor of the Moravian-Silesian region earlier this year, announced that he will contest next year's regional elections alongside STAN, which is part of the national ruling coalition.
  • During a presentation on the CNB's latest Monetary Policy Report, Tomas Holub said that Czechia's neutral real interest rate is around 1% with a slight increasing tendency. He reiterated that the koruna will strengthen next year but only moderately.
  • The Cabinet is scheduled to meet at 13:30GMT/14:30CET, with a press briefing due at 14:30GMT/15:30CET.
