PLNHUF, CZKHUF at Lowest Levels Since June

HUF
EURHUF has steadily declined for the majority of the session, outpacing the majority of its EMEA peers amid a softening greenback. The cross trades below both the 384.00 handle and the 20-day EMA at typing. A continued move lower could expose the short-term bear trigger at 378.24, a break of which would resume bearish activity, though technical conditions overall remain bullish, for now.
  • Notably, PLNHUF trades close to 1% lower on the day as the zloty extends its losses following last week’s sell off. Similarly, CZKHUF sits 0.90% lower as EURCZK records gains for the seventh consecutive session. Both PLNHUF and CZKHUF are trading at their lowest levels since June.
  • With no data releases scheduled this week, HUF performance will likely continue to be a function of the global picture in the short-term.
