Poland will include “protective” solutions regarding energy prices in its draft 2025 budget, Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski said, cited by ISB News.

  • “We know that our energy prices are very high, but today we need, above all, energy transformation,” Domanski added.
  • Climate and Environmental Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska also suggested considering maintaining the maximum energy price for households in 2025.
  • In June, Poland approved the Act to introduce an energy voucher for lower-income households and maintain maximum energy prices for households at PLN 500/MWh and for SMEs at PLN693/MWh until the end of December 2024.
