Polish Central Bank Surprises With 75bp Rate Cut

The National Bank of Poland voted to cut interest rates by 75bp at the meeting held on September 5-6, easing monetary policy for the first time since mid-2020. Consensus was biased towards a 25bp rate cut, no analyst predicted a move of a larger magnitude.
