Politico: Biden To Meet w/Manchin In Make-Or-Break BBB Talks

Politico reporting this morning on a crucial meeting in the progress of the Build Back Better social spending package: "President Joe Biden is set to speak with Sen. Joe Manchin as early as today in what Hill sources tell us will be a make-or-break moment for passing the Build Back Better Act (BBB) before Christmas."

• The likelihood of a deal being reached and passed by Christmas is very small. The Senate remains tied up with passing the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). Menawhile the provisions of BBB have yet to be finalised and crucially approved by the Senate parliamentarian in the 'Byrd bath' procedure.
