POWER: Eku commissions 40MW UK BESS Unit

Eku Energy has commissioned their 40MW Maldon BESS project in the UK, with the project able to store around 40MWh, it said.

  • The unit has also secured a long-term Capacity Market contract and is being traded by EdF.
  • The firm is also constructing the 28MW (56MWh) Basildon and 40MW (40MWh) Loudwater BESS units, which are anticipated to be operational in 4Q24.
