POWER: Fortis, PowerChina Agree to Build 850MW of Serbian Renewables

Fortis Energy and PowerChina will team up to build 850MW of renewables in Serbia, with the capacity met by wind and solar units, Fortis said.

  • Fortis is also planning to install a 180MW solar project in Serbia, with construction due to begin in 202.
  • And is already building four PV farms in Serbia – a combined capacity of 500MW – and is also constructing 509MW of wind in the country.
