The Nordic Investment Bank will loan €40mn to upgrade Finland’s power grid, with the project already started and due to end in 2026, it said.

  • The project will be carried out by Pohjois-Karjalan Sahko Oym, with the firm also planning to install smart meters and replace overground cables with underground lines to safeguard the network and increase consumption estimates.
