The UK’s Octopus Energy will invest £2 billion in UK clean energy projects by 2030, with the firm recently finalising the purchases of 222MW of British PV from BayWa, it said, cited by Reuters. 

  • The PV units will be operational in 2025-26.
  • Additionally, Octopus will submit multiple applications for new wind turbines this year amid UK onshore wind reforms.
