POWER: Poland Extends 530MW Curtailment at 2.2GW Coal Plant

The unexpected 534MW curtailment at Poland’s 2.2GW Kozienice 2 owing to works at unit 10 has been extended to 4 September from 31 August, latest Remit data show

  • Unplanned works at the Kozienice 2 B10 started on 28 August and are still due to minor repairs.
  • The Polish September contract last closed at PLN446.73/MWh on 29 August, up from PLN445.33/MWh in the previous session.
