POWER: Poland URE to Auction 44.6TWh in RES Auction

Polish energy regulator URE will launch this year renewable auctions over 9-17 December, with around 44.6TWh, or a maximum value of PLN17bn (€3.9bn) up for sale, URE said.

  • Dec 9-10: Auctions for landfill biogas, sewage biogas, biomass combustion, hybrid systems, waste thermal treatment, and multi-fuel combustion installations.
  • Dec 11: Auctions for agricultural biogas (>1 MW).
  • Dec 12-13: Auctions for hydropower, bioliquids, and geothermal energy (>1 MW and ≤1 MW).
  • Dec 16-17: Auctions for photovoltaic installations and onshore wind farms (>1 MW and ≤1 MW).
