Lobby RenewableUK Cymru is urging the Welsh government to speed up decision-making processes after news broke that three onshore wind farms, with a combined capacity exceeding 200MW, have faced further delays, it said.

• Data shows fewer than 20% of projects submitted through the Welsh Developments of National Significance scheme are approved on time – the process is supposed to be done within 10 months.
• One project, EDF Renewables UK's 85MW Garn Fach Wind Farm in Wales has been awaiting a decision for more than two years, according to the lobby.
