- A: Says FPC have always had contingencies for no deal. As expected, he avoids
the question.
Q: What is the point of using market rates (which have a Brexit probability in
them) when the BoE is assuming a smooth Brexit?
- A: Carney avoids the question. Says policy is "more complicated in the event
of no deal" - no deal will be shock to supply as well as demand. So can't have
automatic policy response.
