NEW ZEALAND
NEW ZEALAND: Q1 CPI data is due imminently, but just as much, if not more focus,
may be placed on today's address from PM Ardern. Sunday saw the PM re-affirm
that the Cabinet will decide whether to lift or extend the four-week national
lockdown (current alert level 4) later today, with a decision due at 16:00
Wellington Time (03:00 London). Ardern noted that "this is going to be a
long-term project. A lower alert level is not a return to pre-COVID-19 life."
