RENEWABLES

Lightsource bp is planning to build a 290MW PV farm in Poland, which is expected to start operating in 2026 and will eventually reach 380MW “probably in 2027,” Polish Director at Lightsource Michal Glowacki said, cited by ISB News.

  • The project is in the ready-to-build stage.
  • Additionally, Glowacki announced plans to add wind farms to existing and future solar plants through cable pooling. However, he noted that this process will take longer than photovoltaics due to procedures and agreements with local communities.
