Respecting The Range

GOLD

The impulse from a softer USD has supported bullion during Asia-Pac hours, although spot has operated within the confines of a relatively narrow range since markets re-opened on Sunday, aided by Monday's U.S. holiday and the continued observance of the Lunar New Year holiday in China. That leaves familiar technical lines in the sand in play, with spot last dealing at $1,826/oz, a little over $5/oz firmer on the day.
