STOCKS: Risk assets edged higher in early Asia-Pacific dealing, on the back of a
positive lead from Wall St. & after President Trump invited a bipartisan group
of congressional leaders to the White House. However, a contractionary Caixin
Chinese manufacturing PMI reading weighed on risk, with equities holding lower
at writing.
- CSI 300 (-1.2%), Hang Seng (2.4%), ASX 200 (-0.9%).
- U.S. equity index futures also unwound their early gains. S&P 500 (-12), DJIA
(-103) NASDAQ 100 (-30)
