Russian Urals Crude Fell Back Below $60/bbl

Russia’s flagship Urals crude fell back below $60/bbl, the price cap introduced by G7, according to Argus Media pricing.

  • The grade fell to $58.59/bbl at the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk, and $59.09/bbl at Novorossiysk in the Black Sea.
  • Urals crude climbed above the $60/bbl threshold for the first time last week. Buyers of Russian crude are prohibited to use Western firms for shipping and insurance once price rise above the cap.
