Russia’s seaborne crude flows hit Three-Month High

Russia’s seaborne crude exports climbed to their highest level in three months during the week to Oct. 1, according to Bloomberg.

  • Crude exports averaged 3.72m b/d, a rise of 24% on the previous week.
  • The four-week average - a less volatile measure of Russian shipments – rose by 100k b/d to 3.3m b/d, roughly in line with Russia’s commitment to cut exports.
  • The four-week average of exports to Asia stand at 2.55m b/d. with 0.18m b/d to Southern Europe.
