SAGBs Run Into Resistance, But Aren't Out of the Woods Just Yet

  • Local rates tread water around the open this morning, having ended Friday's session slightly firmer. 15-30Y yields ended -2bp lower, while the front end lifted +1.5bp.
  • W/w the curve finished little changed to marginally bear steeper on week, with price action in 10 & 30Y yields running into resistance at 9.60 and 10.80 respectively.
  • Focus for both tenors remains on 9.50 & 10.70 for a break of the near-term uptrends – but will rely on global risk sentiment this week with limited domestic data on the agenda.
