Scottish Firm Reduces the Number of Turbines for 409MW Wind Project

Scottish firm Muirhall Energy has updated its layout and reduced the number of turbines at its 409MW Teviot wind project in Scotland, the firm said, cited by Renews.biz.

  • The project will now have 52 turbines instead of the originally proposed 62MW – dropping its capacity to 350MW compared to the original capacity. A new project layout will also be applied.
  • The company's original application, submitted in May 2022, has been updated based on extensive public consultation and feedback from consultees like NatureScot.
